I've always found it weird that Penny isn't among those they consider to be better friends than Tobias. I fully understand having Carrie up there, I could get behind Darwin's friendship with Banana Joe earning him a spot, and MAYBE I can see Bobert cracking the list (after "The Bet", they do seem to hang out quite a bit). But how are they better friends with *Leslie* and *Sarah* than they are with Penny? ....actually, now that I think about it, perhaps it's because Darwin's still harboring his Penny jealousy from "The Bros", and that offsets Gumball's love of her enough to where she's ranked lower. (And look; I get that it was done this way so they could make the jokes about Tobias getting their "powers"; I'm just looking at it from an in-universe perspective.)
