"Based on his silhouette he pretty much looks as i expected it" Fun Fact based on that comment.... All the Marine Admiral's faces are based on famous real-life japanese actors.... Aokiji/Kuzan has the face of the late Yusaku Matsuda, more specifically the look he had while playing as Drifter "Shuichi Tsujiyama", in the movie "Detective Story". Kizaru/Borsalino has the face of the late Kunie Tanaka, with his look and attire designed after a character he played in the movie "Truck Yarou". Same thing goes for the third Admiral, but i won't say it since it's obviously spoilers. The fact that Oda gave the power of light... arguably the Fastest Devil Fruit Power... to someone with a speech pattern and body language so slow.... it's simply hilarious, but very good character design. This is a really good episode to watch multiple times, just so you can pay attention and try to figure out what are all the powers of the Supernovas. Also.... Kizaru called Drake "Rear Admiral" when he arrived, which is the rank directly below Vice-Admiral in the marines, even tho Drake is a Pirate... a very interesting detail.
