Something I love about the Supernovas, Law and Kid in particular, is that they each feel like they could be the protagonists of their own adventure series, and that's pretty much exactly what they are in-universe. You can easily imagine them both having their own 400 episodes of adventures to get to this point. This battle with them fighting alongside (and arguing with) Luffy just sums that up perfectly.
