ONE PIECE EP 380 "Binks' Sake - The Song that Connects the Past and Present" Full Length Reaction

The song of many names apparently. Binks' Sake in the title, Binks' Booze in the subtitles, and before now, I've only ever heard it called Binks' Brew. But whatever you call it, it's catchy as hell and even made its way into the live action. (I can only assume it will sneak in again when we revisit Laboon in Season 2.) But holy hell, that last performance scene still gets me. One of the most tragic and memorable moments for sure!

I have also heard the theory the illness was the one the Shandians had in the Nolan backstory. Brook’s backstory never fails to bring the tears for me. But I love it for that.

Yes, there is a small possibility that the Jungle where Yorkie got his infection is actually Little Garden, and he got the same disease that plagued Nami.... only that in their case they didn't have the fortune of landing in Drum Island, where Kureha lives (which by the way, during this flashback she's already 89 years old xdd). THIS... this is the moment where One Piece finally made me tear up for the first time, it wasn't Nami's "Help Me", Chopper's backstory, Robin's "I Want to Live" or even Merry's Goodbye, this moment.... the final act of the Rumbar Pirates... was the thing that finally broke me, it's so beautiful but so tragic at the same time. Mikey, when you can... listen to this song in your own language, i feel like it has a better impact on you when you can understand the lyrics alongside the melody... instead of reading them. I certainly get choked up everytime i hear the latin spanish version.
