The animation in The Ollie marks the sixth guest-animated segment in the show! It was directed by Simon Landerin and produced by Passion Paris. Passion Paris is a studio that is usually behind commercials as well as working on a couple of shorts for Marvel. I love how bright and simplistic Simon's style is; it allows the animation to be super smooth and create some cool imagery you wouldn't see normally in Gumball. Fun fact about the segment: there was some pushback on a scene where Gumball was skating around a car, and was deemed too imitative for younger kids. So they replaced the car with a hot dog on wheels, which I guess was okay for them lmao.
