Other than the previous James Baxter episode, Mikey you've also seen his animation work briefly on that one incredibly fluid and beautiful fusion scene from the Steven Universe main series finale (Change Your Mind).

2025-06-24 06:19:44 +0000 UTCWe are blessed with the presence of the Great James Baxter! (both the animator and the horse). The first James Baxter episode was in season 5 if i remember correctly. It's so cute that the AT team writes these episodes so the characters treat James Baxter the Horse like a celebrity, because for any animator... the real James Baxter is basically like that. It's like if you just became a professional Baskeball player and suddenly you get visited by Michael Jordan or Lebron James. So... in case it wasn't clear, the reason why James Baxter started walking on that beach ball and saying his own name was because it made the Bat happy, and he continued to do it because it made everyone around him happy. But what we didn't know until know is that it didn't made HIM happy, that's why he refused the ball after Finn gave him that little speech... and instead started doing something that he really wanted to do...... Dancing. It's simple.... but it's a very touching story.
