LMAO, only a show like Gumball could do an episode about the main character wanting to be slapped on the ass cause he felt left out Though, given that the creator has (indirectly) confirmed that Gumball is bisexual, I wouldn't be surprised if that maybe wasn't the only reason he wanted the butt slap. and The Detective is such a good episode! Anais seriously needs more appreciation, and this episode was just that! Kyla did an amazing job voicing her throughout the episode, and it's honestly a real shame she isn't returning to the role for The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.

2025-05-25 10:47:47 +0000 UTCThe Slap has to be one of the funniest and wildest gumball plots in the show XD. What other show would have the main character spend the entire episode just wanting to get their ass slapped. The song Gumball is singing in the slap is a homage to "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid Speaking on Gumball news, im so genuinely excited for this newest season or series or whatever this is technically classified as, since it's been so long since we've seen or heard anything new about Gumball. Without spoiling anything, the fate of the series has kinda been in this weird limbo state since season 6 ended in 2019. In 2021 they announced that supposedly a gumball movie was in development alongside a new gumball series (which I suppose is this new show but its still unclear if this is a new show or just another season under a new name), but after the warner bros merger, things fell apart with the movie ending up shelved with no news on the current state of the series. Since then, we've only been getting small rumors but haven't been given any major news about the series until the teaser was released.
