Yes, this episode is real stop-motion, and like teddy said.... it took them a whole year to animate (that means that the production of the episode started when season 6 was still airing, at minimun), which does add up... considering that this was merely 11 minutes of stop-motion. I like this one... not as good as "A Glitch Is a Glitch" or "Food Chain" in my opinion.... but definitely A LOT better than "Water Park Prank". Episodes like these are also another reason why Adventure Time was such a big staple in the animation industry, the show knew NO BOUNDS in neither story, characters, designs, music or even animation style, AT was one of a kind... and we probably won't see anything like it in a long time. "He's down by the River" oh no BMO... don't say that to me.... Baldur's Gate 3 Soundtrack is gonna come back to my brain and get stuck there for weeks! xddd
