i absolutely love the vampire king, he’s so eccentric yet menacing. his design is so fun too. and i think in that scene with marcy in the past, he had no idea that he might come back someday, he was ensuring that vampires would survive by making her one

2025-04-03 01:43:58 +0000 UTCSo... as im sure you've already noticed.... all the major Vampires except for the King are named after Tarot Cards.... The Fool, The Hierophant, The Moon and The Empress. Tho the King does have Tarot connections too, but i'll talk about him later. There's a great youtube video by Uncivilized Elk that breaks down not only the mini-series but also the deeper meanings behind the Vampires having Tarot Card names. once you're done with the show i highly recommend you to check out Uncivilized Elk's videos.... he's the best AT Content Creator out there (in my opinion). "Nah, that's not right".... probably my favorite joke of the entire mini-series xddddd. I LOVE the flashback of Marceline vs the Vampire King, very epic.... but also very disturbing right at the end, the way they made the scene where Vamp King is biting Marcy makes it look as if he's... well... defiling and violating her, her scream of pain as she transforms it's also very haunting.... it reminds of Marcy from Amphibia when Andrias puts the Core in her head and she becomes Darcy. This is Peak Adventure Time man, no wonder you think this is so cool xddd.
