The Downer is really dark if you think about it. I think the darkness is a representation of depression, visually depicting how this mental fog can blind you from what's real or from the good things, only to make those things look and feel sad and hopeless. But I love at the end that Gumball realizes that he needed his family to get out of it. Oh boy, Felicity, in my opinion, is the worst character on the show. She's basically the show's version of a Karen with the worst aspects of a Karen. Not to say she's a bad character, but she makes me want to hate her. But it's nice to see more character from Billy, I like that he was able to bond with Anais over their intelligence for a while.
