ONE PIECE EP 243 "CP9 Unmasked! Their Shocking True Faces" Full Length Reaction

While the reveal of the foremen of Galley-La being members of the Secretive CP9 Agency was a very serious situation.... This reveal also makes me laugh every time i rewatch it becuause... on one hand you have Lucci, Kaku and Kalifa whose real alliance was definitely a big shock for all of us... But then you also have Blueno who is a character that only appeared in like 2 scenes and in both he remained as a minor character.... and yet the scene still treats it like him being an undercover agent like the others is equally shocking xdddd. Even Iceberg adds to the hilariousness of this by not saying just his name but saying "Blueno... from the Bar!" like... even Oda subconsciously knew that Blueno is such a minor character that he probably needed to add where he's from to remind the readers who he was xddd.

Yaaay the commercial break cards are finally changing, im glad because i had forgotten when they started to show any of them besides Luffy's.... and these break cards in particular are my personal favorites. That's right.... the Ancient Weapon Pluton, the sole reason why Crocodile attempted to conquer Alabasta in the first place... is the center point of conflict in this Saga. Good on you for remembering that. So in case it wasn't clear.... the Cipher Pol Agencies are basically the intelligence branch of the World Goverment, there are 8 of them who specializes in different things (CP1 to CP8) and then there's CP9 which is an unofficial and secret Agency that specializes in assassination (this information is provided by Oda himself in one of the SBS). Corgy for example... the guy who was always pestering Iceberg.... is most likely an Agent of one of the 8 official Cipher Pols. And yes, Pluton is the name of the Weapon. Also as a sidenote.... Japanese is similar phonetically to Spanish, so when you see a name or word that contains the letter "H" you have to pronounce it in the same way as if you were saying "Hello" or "Hanukkah", basically the H is not mute.

One of the great plot twists of all time right here.

Cipher Pol is like Interpol. Basically international police. These Cipher Pol are passed off as intelligence agencies. So it's kinda like a combination of CIA and Interpol.

THIS. This is the reveal that I and probably a lot of other people were waiting for. One of the most mind-blowing twists I've ever seen, period. And it makes so much sense too. Who better to infiltrate than the shipwrights, his personal office, and even the bar, since we all know how good bartenders are at picking up information? Also, you may notice that Lucci was the shadowy figure Robin was talking to before the attack. You'd just never know it because we'd only ever heard him speak through his pigeon before now. (If you look closely though, his hair is barely visible when it does that close-up on his eyes.)
