My Sister Became God - Chapter 10 (Final)

And with this final chapter, the story comes to a close. I hope you have enjoyed it.

+++

A young man gripped Throgg's shoulder as he said, "I'll see you later this afternoon, brother." He flashed a smile and walked away, holding a bible under his arm.

As Throgg joined the crowds of church attendees and strolled through the arched gate, leaving behind the pleasant coolness of the building and entering into the scorching heat of the outside world, the first thing he did was gaze up at the sky.

Throgg shielded his eyes from the blinding sunlight and gazed at the endless blue expanse above him. His sister was somewhere up there, he knew. It had been weeks since he last saw her in human form. She rarely visited Earth these days, but he sensed that she still kept a watchful eye on the planet like a precious toy.

Occasionally, a celestial occurrence captures the attention of all and brings life to a standstill as people gaze skyward. A colossal eye appears, seemingly capable of consuming the entire planet without so much as a single blink.

Dina Locksley rarely made an effort to connect with her people personally, but today was one of those occasions - and a lucky day for all of her followers. Throgg was aware that she constantly monitored them, though not in a way his senses could detect. Still, her presence was always palpable.

Throgg was confident she could see him staring at her with a silly grin on his face. It had been a wild journey for Throgg, but he was finally content with where he was in life.

He could scarcely believe it. His sister, his very own bratty sister, whom he had relentlessly bullied and tormented for years, had now ascended to the status of deity—or maybe she had always been.

The thought was almost surreal, as if he were living a bizarre dream. He couldn't help but feel a mixture of shock, awe, and even a tinge of jealousy as he thought about it. How could his kid sister, the snotty brat he had always viewed as inferior, suddenly become so… everlasting and all-powerful?

She can do anything now! Dina is God!

It still felt odd to him to state it like that.

Throgg beamed with pride as he looked up at the sky and proclaimed, "My sister is God!"

The man next to him slapped him on the back in agreement. "She sure is, champ!"

Throgg couldn't quite comprehend how or why this was true, but his 16-year-old sister was almighty and the universe's unquestionable ruler. Nothing could oppose her, and all would bend to her will.

He wasn't sure if she had recently gained this status or had always possessed it without realizing it, but either way, she was indeed God—there was no doubt about that.

Even though everything had already transpired, Throgg still bore the burden of guilt for his monstrous deed of "killing" her. Of course, he hadn't actually killed her - Dina Locksley was above such inconsequential matters like life and death, a privilege we mere mortals were not granted.

But Throgg was unaware of this at the time. In his mind, his sister Dina was just as vulnerable as any other human and could be killed just as easily. His impulsive actions caused a rift between him and his mother, who judged him harshly for his deed.

Despite the overwhelming joy that coursed through his mother's veins upon learning her lost daughter was still alive, it could not quell the fierce anger she held towards Throgg for nearly stealing her away.

When the truth emerged—that God was not some almighty being but rather a mere teenage girl with stunning eyes living among them—it was a monumental shift for their entire planet. The revelation left many in awe and disbelief, forcing them to reevaluate everything they thought they knew about their world and its beliefs.

Soon enough, a dedicated group of followers from all corners of the globe huddled together to become the founders of Dinaism. They developed a framework of beliefs, customs, ceremonies, and ethical guidelines centered around the worship of Dina Locksley, which sought to elucidate the purpose of human existence and the origins of the cosmos through the lens of her divinity.

Sacred scriptures were written to guide adherents in following the right path. Morality and ethics served as guidelines for the followers, making sure they were living their lives just as Dina wanted them to.

Practices of worship in temples and churches brought believers closer to Dina, with her all-seeing eye in the sky as the ultimate proof that she was still there and caring about them.

The last time Dina showed herself in her physical form was two weeks ago. She gave a press conference that was fervently watched by billions of people worldwide. Here was a petite girl who looked nothing out of the ordinary and was merely 16 years old, shockingly announcing that she was God!

Dina's statement caused a stir among many people, particularly those with strong religious beliefs who considered it blasphemous. Others saw her words as nothing more than a tasteless joke that didn't deserve much attention. However, regardless of which side they were on, no one could deny the miraculous abilities displayed by Dina, as she could do seemingly impossible things.

Her main objective at the press conference was to finally prove her true abilities and demonstrate that she was everything she claimed to be. With great confidence, Dina challenged everyone to test her limits and push her to do seemingly impossible feats. She had already shown her ability to cure terminal illnesses and restore hearing to the deaf. She had even amazed the world by shrinking objects and living creatures. Now, a daring journalist with a slick smile dared her to bring extinct dinosaurs back to life.

With a simple snap of her fingers, Dina declared the task finished. The reporter was ready to scoff at her until a pterosaur suddenly descended from the sky and grabbed his hat. From there, Dina confidently brought back the mythical city of Atlantis, switched the locations of Hong Kong and New York, and transformed the once-white clouds into a vibrant pink hue while laughing about it.

There was not a thing Dina was unable to do. She refused to create a second sun when it was asked of her, as it would have dire consequences for all life on Earth, raising the surface temperature to scorching heat. Sure, with all of her powers at her disposal, Dina could easily make it function nonetheless, but that would feel like working.

And working was something Goddess Dina was not going to do anymore. She would leave that to her subjects.

As she observed from above, she was pleased to see that a significant portion of the world's population had dedicated themselves to keeping her happy.

Magnificent structures of marble and gold rose towards the sky, reaching for the heavens in honor of their teen Goddess. The notes of symphonies filled the air, interweaving to create a majestic melody that seemed to echo throughout the land, all with the sole purpose of honoring their Goddess.

Dina couldn't help but smirk at her brother's initial reaction to her ascension - shouting to anyone who would listen that his sister was nothing more than a spoiled child who didn't deserve such grandiose treatment.

Dina couldn't argue with him. Despite witnessing millions of people venerating and worshiping her, she did not feel like a deity.

She just felt like a 16-year-old high school girl with the luck to be blessed with omnipotent abilities.

In her own realm, Dina created herself and resembled her own bedroom; she leaned back comfy in her lazy chair while taking a sip of a cup of hot chocolate, her favorite drink.

She extended her hand towards the miniature galaxy hovering above her nightstand. After a brief pause, Dina's fingers drifted through the cluster of celestial objects until she found one that piqued her interest. Like a child picking out candy, she plucked a planet—much larger than Earth but still smaller than a radish in her hands—and brought it closer to examine.

On this planet lived an extraterrestrial species that humans will not discover until about 3000 years from now.

"You really are hideous, aren't you, my lovely ones?" Dina addressed the aliens, rattling their continents with heavy earthquakes with the sheer power of her voice.

Numbering in the trillions, these beings all worshiped Dina, a mere high school brat, as their Goddess - the one who created and could also destroy them.

As she smiled at them, they paused in their activities to pay homage to her all-seeing eye, bowing down and reciting prayers.

"Whoops!" Dina said after dropping the planet, where it bounced on her lap until it rested between her warm, bare thighs.

Dina's slender hand, adorned with delicate silver rings, reached out eagerly to grasp her most prized possession - the tiny marble representing planet Earth. With a flick of her wrist, she made it levitate above her index finger, mesmerized by its miniature beauty. After admiring it for a moment, she gently nestled it between her cleavage, just above her heart, where she believed it truly belonged. The curves of her moderate-sized breasts cradled the globe like a precious jewel, and she felt a surge of warmth and protectiveness wash over her as she held it there.

I love the idea of a human fantasising about becoming a Goddess. Would you ever be up for roleplaying that and seeing how it feels?

Redfoot

I'd be very interested in chatting about ideas! I reckon we have such shared interests that there'd be a lot of aspects similar to things you've written before, but I love brainstorming with people. Excited about the new story as well!

Hey! Thanks for letting me hear your thoughts about the story. Awesome to hear that you're fantasizing about being a Goddess yourself! Would be interesting to hear more about that, perhaps even inspiring for future stories. Anyway, I'm busy writing a new story atm that I'll be posting this friday. Its heavy on the omnipotency, but with a casual flair in it. You might like this one. I, at least, am having the time of my life writing it!

Love the story but it's bittersweet to see it end here. I understand why it happens, but I'm always sad when stories always have to end at this point where the giantess/goddess gets what she wants. I always find myself wanting to brainstorm/roleplay how the world adapts and adjusts to the new reality from multiple perspectives. I often fantasize about becoming a goddess myself, being able to watch how subjects handle my transition into power, with some being more paranoid/in-denial, and some being more emotional and devout, being able to appear to them in mirages/visions. That sounds like a lot of fun to me personally, but I understand there isn't as much narrative thrust unless you do a Christ parallel story which becomes too heavyhanded.
