This mod hides the Spellcasters even further.
NOTICE: the mod blocks the access to the Magic Realm to non-spellcasters user directed Sims and adds a quest to gain access to it. To block NPC walkbies you need this small tweak: Magic Portal Only Spellcasters
It's always been weird to me that anyone can walk through the Portal in Glimmerbrook like nothing, so I restricted it to Spellcasters only.
Other Sims will get only an "examine" interaction and the option to ask the resident:
Basically it adds a small quest to get inside the Magic Realm, if other Sims are Spellcasters and know you well enough they'll open the Realm to your Sim for 3 days, after which you'll need to asks another invite.
Only the Sages when in the Realm (on role) can grant you permanent access.
Sages and Witches can also grant access to anyone when played. The Sages can also remove it.
There is a secret inside this mod, you can either install it blindly, read the Spoiler here or leave it be.
You can still access the secret content by using the debug cheats even without the addon.

Anyway it's fixed now, but get it from Drive, Patreon is being an arse and not allowing me to upload files right now, I'll update the file in this post later, thanks for reporting

2022-10-19 04:27:09 +0000 UTCThe trait is hidden, the name is Zero:trait_WitchOccult_DormantWitch you can't see it in the UI, you need MCCC to look for it. If they don't have the trait they don't have the powers because they're tied to the trait.

So far I've tested on 3 different starts, and while none of them have the hidden trait (I think?), and none of them exhibit the special text when examining the portal, they still suffer the same paranormal events as if they had the trait (flickering lights, broken stuff, etc), all 3 of them, and all 3 of them were made spellcaster without the Initiation stuff (as if they had the trait) and recieved strong bloodlines. I checked and re-checked: None of them had the trait, but all of them were treated as if they had. Is this normal? Or my game is just screwed?

Maybe some info-box (the blue ones up in the corner) could nudge the player into getting to investigate about what is happening... Now that I've read the spoiler, I love it <3
