Sims can decide to break up and divorce autonomously, works both for played Sims (with autonomy on) and NPCs. The Sim must have a bitter, grudge or hurt sentiment to run the interaction, and relationship must be half romance to break up, half romance and friendship to divorce.
They'll give a warning first, after which you have 24h to save the relationship, they'll not be able to try again. After 24h the interaction unlocks again, if they run it again in the span of 3 days, the break up/divorce will happen, and there will be no way to confirm or cancel. After 3 days the whole system resets. If you pick the wrong answer, the relationship ends right there.
In order to save the relationship:
Keep the Sim happy or flirty, have them gain an adoring, close or enamoured sentiment, raise the relationship again.
Good Sims cannot autonomously break up or divorce.
Hot Headed, Insane and Non Committal Sims give no warning.

2023-10-08 15:39:44 +0000 UTCI don't know Lumpinou's mods but this one has no overrides so it should be compatible with everything. It's balanced for Vanilla game tho, so you have to try and see how they behave together.
