All of this should be fairly easy as long as pets traits support the disable ageing feature. I don't mind the idea of vampire pets either. The only thing that seems a bit hard to achieve is linking vampire life and pets life.

2021-02-06 14:31:44 +0000 UTCGot what some may see as a morbid idea (that the EA forums members didn't really like all that much when I mentioned it, but whatever): "Ghoul" your cats and dogs. EX: Vampires can pause their pets aging with their blood, when fed to a cat or dog, thus makes said cat or dog stop aging. Or the vampire can use their energy for this if the blood idea is too morbid for some people. No special or gory animation needed, probably the "sniff fingers/greet" animation could work. The vampire can remove the "ghoul" trait from their pet anytime if they choose to have their pet start aging again. Or when they decide its time to let fluffy age up and die off and move on to the next life as normal. The idea behind this has to do with the fact your vampire lives forever, why cant you offer your pets the gift of immortality as well? Also its sad when your vampire sim lives forever and crying all the time when your pets grow old and die off every little while. Its short enough as it is with normal sims / vs their pets. And to those who say the feeding pets blood is a morbid idea, had anyone noticed Veterinarians can extract full blown plasma bags vampires can drink from pets in the surgery device? That creeped ME out a little when I noticed it, and its a standard vanilla EA feature! Only downside to this would be if your vampire dies, that vampire's pet dies as well at the same time. Or at least that pet's normal aging resumes and they go back to being a normal cat or dog as the blood of their vampire no longer exists. And a Spellcaster alternative version would be when they make a cat or dog a Familiar, said cat/dog Familiar stops aging. And said cat or dog does not NEED to eat or use the bathroom as long as they are in the summoned Familiar state. I was surprised when EA did not make the cat/dog Familiar versions special like the buy or earnable flying Familiars that come in the globes are. Not sure if any of this is possible. Is it?
