2024-04-24 18:27:49 +0000 UTCi’ve gone back and forth forever on whether the song defeating Golb feels like a cop-out or not. Music is super important to the show, even if it’s not always super prominent, it is always playing a role either ambiently or in creative ways, and of course Marcy, The Ice King and even Finn and Jake are all quite musical. I think harmony defeating discord makes sense, and I think what makes it work is that it obviously doesn’t defeat Golb, just opens up his stomach(?) for a small amount of time. Love your energy and the growth you’ve gone thru over the development of the channel, keep doing you brother 🫡
