Aqua Goes NUCLEAR | Oshi No Ko S3 Episode 7 REACTION

Comments

Interesting. I've seen what you saw and I've heard what you've said, but I don't really think Aqua is that "twisted motherf*cker" you're talking about. Ruby knows him very well (as she herself has said in episode 4 of this season) and should've expected some sh*t like that. After all, he gave the disclaimer and she agreed to ANYTHING that would save Kana, "even if it might hurt you". It wasn't roundabout at all. She should have inquired further and, if she did, she would've had the right to stop him and question his methods. Instead, she gave him the green light. And, ultimately, I'm happy with the results. Kana is saved, Akane is sad but safe and Ruby is the only one who's in panic mode. Which is the lesser of the evils since I consider both Ruby and Aqua pretty much screwed already (I can't really see an happy ending to this story). At this point, I'm just glad if we can minimize the loss and save at the very least Akane and Kana. And mommy Miyako, of course.

Also cheers to the troubled main staff list of the episode with Ciao Nekotomi and Kuniyasu Nishina (the Assistant Directors of S2 (the former was also that for S1) and for Nekotomi also the director of the OP this season) returning for one episode to help out in a not planned production panic button move.

- 27:44: I am sure someone else will tell you too, but... the original manga did end between the end of S2 and the start of S3. (Gets... a bit... complicated in terms of saying which chapters got adapted in the previous two/three (including this one) anime episodes since stuff was changed in order and extensive anime original scenes especially in regards to Kana's struggle last time were apparently introduced too... but like each season of OnK has so far adapted around 40 chapters of the manga and we're barley over the 100 mark right now.)

Really I absolutely loved it

Man......idk. The anime switching the plot around feels hella off. We previously see Akane leaving her room while saying that she's gonna "handle it" basically, yet she doesn't do anything until the end of this episode. If she had gone to confront Hikaru right after the phone call with Aqua, THEN Kana gets wrapped up her own scandal, I truly think the plot would've felt smoother. Going from Akane to Kana to Akane was needlessly disjointed. Sad face. I didn't enjoy Aqua confronting Akane as much in the anime. I can't even nail down how I feel it was incorrect. Le sigh.
