A groundcover plant related to roses, also known as "Ledy's-mantle." According tk Wikipedia — "Water beads on the leaves due to their dewetting properties. These beads of water were considered by alchemists to be the purest form of water. They used this water in their quest to turn base metal into gold, hence the name Alchemilla." Relevance? Great, morose song anyway.

Lieutenant colonel, she is. I never saw these kids really give a damn about Greta. Man, that sucks, knowing that you weren't feeling the emotions of that mess hall discussion. That was a poignant scene.

Kiri went nuts from seeing his comrades killed over and over, until he saw that Fredericka had "died," which truly broke him, enough to let a Legion snatch his noggin. Shin is nuts from a decade of watching his comrades killed over and over, while being oppressed and relegated to "nonhuman" status, while also hearing the voices of the dead basically nonstop. Their instability reasons were the half the same, but half vastly different.

Only thing is, I'm not a bug fan of short stories, usually, so when I got to volume 7, I switched to a different series. Might you have anything nice to say about volume 7 that might help me go for it again? It would still be a while because I started Lord of the Mysteries after the donghua ended, and I just reach chapter ~970 and I wanna finish the first book at least.

I can't mention why without spoilers, but imagine your values getting flipped on your head in regards to the Legion. It's like that, and one scene sticks out in my mind.
