That was one scary looking yokai - a kitsune, I guess? Love Miko getting her own ED. Yeah, I guess the big mystery is whether Miko also wants to eat Hinako - I don't think she does, given her disparaging comment about "the smell of a yokai who likes to eat humans - or if she's protecting her out of friendship, love, or due to some other obligation. The prayer beads Miko wears suggests she might be the guardian spirit of a shrine or something. As you say, I suppose it also partly depends on whether any good memories we saw in flashbacks re "real" or everything was yokai mind manipulation. It would be neat if our two monsters ended up deciding to reluctantly team up to keep protecting Hinako. PS: Fairouz Ai also fantastic in Grieving Soul this season as crazy-strong heroine(?) Liz Smart.
