This doesn't really work as a date for the rest of the series -or rather, it doesn't work for Pretty Derby (as in, the mainline show) since it exists on a slightly different timeline. In Pretty Derby, Tokai Teio's career is after Special Week and the Golden Generation. In real life, as well as CinGray, Road to the Top, and Beginning of a New Era, Tokai Teio's career is right after Oguri Cap's, with the Golden Generation rolling in a few years after. There are other narrative inconsistencies between Pretty Derby and the rest (mostly having to do with which trainers which umas have), but Tokai Teio's career is the main elephant in the room separating the two continuities.
