This one have a lot of references to Tsukihime. 1. Shirou's projection is not exactly a divine posession. It's just that he can project the weapon from the exact moment he witness it. That's why when projecting Heracles's weapon he obtained the strenght of the enemy. 2. The Forest of Einnashe is not a forest of dead apostles, it's a dead apostle forest. When this Dead Apostle called Einnashe was killed by the "Princess", the forest in where his blood was spilled turned into a Dead Apostle. The one we see in this episode is just an offspring of that forest, a Child of Einnashe. Created when the fruit in the center of the actual forest spills some blood, then this blood turns into another forest. The actual Forest of Einnashe is far more dangerous and aggresive. He controls the Leylines of the place so Mages cannot use Magecraft since without Leylines they don't have Mana. Also the actual forest only appears every 50 years. 3. Yeah, Dead Apostles have ranks I-IX. The ones you saw in Fate/Zero were like rank I-II at most. Weaklings basically. The strongest of the Dead Apostles, that is rank IX are even stronger than most of the Servants. Though in Fate worlds only Lesser Dead Apostle exist (Rank VI), there aren't any above that because of some circumstances. But even rank VI Dead Apostles can compete with Servants.
