The guy in the crowd was her dad she looks up to. It definitely had to be interesting adapting kitasan black. Unlike teio or special week, who were great but had lots of competition or struggles, kitasan was a dominant racehorse. They had to play up her losses to drive up the drama. Lol She's popular irl for not having any special lineage but still becoming a star.
