This episode hits hard for those of us who have been fans of "cursed" sports teams. It's so real. You know it's just bad fortune or even bad management. But a team can't go 90 years without winning just by mistake, right? Even if the curse isn't real, the effect of it can be just as real. Trying so hard to win can lead to losing. Bad decisions. EEtc. That moment of relief in her entire family seeing her win reminded me of crying with my mom when the Chicago Cubs finally won a championship. That generational experience you share. I'm glad I got to experience it with her when she was still on better mind, unfortunately she got dementia in the last couple years.

2025-08-25 14:12:13 +0000 UTCThe key moment is definitely the funniest one of everything. If you have not decided whether to watch the movie or the OVAs for Road to the Top, I'd recommend the movie, just because I enjoy the format more and that being what I saw.
