Fun fact - the author of Durarara has another series called Vamp which features vampires and werewolves. The character who caught the vending machine (and Shinra) at the ceremony is called Traugott and is from that series. A number of Narita's works are set in the same universe, and characters/events from one series will often make references to the other stories. You probably remember seeing the two characters from Baccano in season 1, for example.
