I don't think I have brought the parallel yet, but I do think the CGI animation here is like how I imagine anime style video game cutscenes to be and how I have definitely seen some in a similar style before. The performance and Nina's outfit were mega cute.

If you haven't seen already, if you check MAL for the VAs for the main characters, these are their first credited roles. Insane performances right from the start. Pretty cool detail to go along with this great series.
