100% agreed, that was so great watching her impress the battlesages with ger knowledge of the japanese cuisine and culture. Also I agree that vol 8 and 9 are great, it’s probaly in my top 3 favorite arcs.

Watching Hinata slowly become more and more exasperated as she realizes how much positive influence Rimuru has had in developing Blumund/Tempest and listening to her internal monologue was one of my favourite parts of this volume

On one hand you have the LN readers: “Wow the pacing is pretty great, way more world building than I thought they’d do, it’s too bad details had to be cut, but still it’s great!” Versus (most) Anime-onlys: “Lol this is slow trash, it should be called “That time I got reincarnated into an infinite meeting” am I right. Granted I can imagine how confusing it can be to follow considering they can’t slow the pace down to explain everything the way the LN did. SIDENOTE: The people complaining it’s slow are gonna LOSE IT when we get to the 2nd half of this season lol. You ain’t seen nothing yet mwahahaha
