Love u my friends is another 'remaster' song, which is why it doesn't have a performance I warned you this would happen. They're using the translated term 'club' to refer to both "Competitive teams" and "Social hobby groups." If they become a 'team' then they will get higher recognition and funding, but less freedom of choice (they'll pretty much have to do the Love Live as a full group otherwise people will start asking questions), which for solo idols is actually a very important barrier. Ultimately it's a wealthy school so the difference in the two status for them is actually not that big of a deal. Plus future generations can still change the status if they want.
