Arthur v2 redesign
Added 2024-05-13 09:04:11 +0000 UTCAnd we got the last of our main cast done, and the easiest one at the very end. I was quite happy with how Arthur looked already, and he only got minimal adjustments. Some added detailing, some cleaning up here and there and some small shape adjustments, but all in all he is the one who just pretty much worked already.
Left to right it's v1, v2 and v2+ sunshine lighting.
So yeah! Meet new Arthur, more or less the same as old Arthur, just with some spit and polish. But why change that which is already working pretty well. And he was the last of the main cast who received his finished artwork. So it makes sense that i would be most comfortable with these character artworks by this point, and it'd be the point where I'd have the best grasp of the feel for the story and all that stuff.
But yeah, hope you enjoy it anyway, even if it's perhaps not as exciting as the other reworks! :D

i agree, he deserved to be touched to! <3 cant wait to see how he and pc came together :D

Shadow effects give a little more intensity to the colors and natural light effects make them more real. but still, the first two versions are very good ! especially for interior scenes. I really appreciate your work! and besides... I think this redesign is as (maybe a little more) exciting than the others. because you know.... it's Arthur 😊! A really nice piece of... ha... you get it.

2024-05-13 11:48:41 +0000 UTCThank you, yeah sometimes not a lot is needed, but one thing that bugged me was that he was just a bit too grey-in-grey. So yeh, getting him to be a bit more hazel-brown which then tended itself as well to push the face marking more as well. Which also in turns means that the blue eyes stand out more now. Just a kind of cascade of small bits and pieces that interlink :D
