Question for my $5 patrons
Added 2018-03-19 18:49:20 +0000 UTCHey guys. I'm very happy with how this Patreon is running so far, but I was thinking of making a few adjustments to the rewards and the way I do things here. I started out with the $5 reward tier giving access to content exclusive to Patreon, but now I'm thinking about changing this and publishing the $5 bonus versions along with the other pictures.
The reason is simple: as an artist, I want to make money off of my art, but I also want it to be seen and appreciated as widely as possible. Turns out that essentially blocking off some of my images behind a paywall doesn't sit entirely right with me.
Of course, there's the possibility that exclusivity is the main reason some of you pledged the $5 per picture at all. Here is my proposal of additional new perks to potentially balance out the change:
- Two weeks of publishing delay instead of one. You get the image set along with the high-tier bonuses half a month earlier than non-Patrons.
- $5 tier-exclusive PSD files, possibly set up in a way that would allow you to create customized combinations of clothing items, different gender combos, messy/clean versions, facial expressions, x-rays, etc. Essentially, a mini dress-up game.
Nothing is set in stone yet, so let me know what you think about this or give your own suggestions in the comments, there is also a poll if you don't like typing that much. ;]
