It's very fitting that the first person he really gets to show it off to in this new place is someone who communicates visually.

I would imagine being able to summon the whole critter like that is going to make people reluctant to tangle with you. Also just noticed the stylized hammerhead shark on the bottom of the scabbard - that’s a nice detail. Hopefully he won’t get arrested.
