I shall belatedly appreciate Mattoa's heels. Nice shoe design.

2024-04-22 00:20:41 +0000 UTCI thought I remembered that as wellโjust found the reference on page 82. But Zusufula doesnโt seem to be saying/mouthing that word (my best guess is โleoโ??), and I feel like he could easily mime hammering on an anvil to get the point across. What is he up to?? Edit: Doy, the word heโs saying is magic, to summon his sword.

2024-04-21 04:49:16 +0000 UTCZusu is a smith. He may have made the sword his creepy horse swallowed so maybe heโs somehow summoning the sword from the horseโs gut? We honestly donโt know what theyโre capable of magic-wise but thatโs my vote.

2024-04-20 16:02:38 +0000 UTCI love the idea of Mattoa clomping around the library in metal shoes, having no idea how much heโs bothering people, until the sound just becomes part of the atmosphere for everyone else.
