Added 2020-05-29 14:00:17 +0000 UTCA large part of what's taking so long with this chapter is the rapidly changing environment design. Usually I can just design a room, establish a shot, and be relatively good for the rest of the scene. This chapter is about Psyche discovering the ancient Greek equivalent of an enchanted castle and there's just so much work put into the backgrounds to convey that. Luckily I'm finally getting to the part of the chapter that's more about the characters themselves and their encounter and they can be in the dark where I won't have to spend 12 hours a day sketching and inking backgrounds. YAY.
I expect this will be the most labor-intensive chapter in the whole book but it's going to be so worth it.

It's lovely! You're well worth the wait, take your time, don't over do, make sure you do self care! I do hope you're taking breaks in those 12 hrs!
