Update 8 Preview

Hey everyone, happy sunday to you. Speaking to you from the past because I'd rather avoid having to write this one up on a sunday! I'm currently...hmm... let's say I'm sipping pina coladas while at my beachfront winter residence? Yes, sure, let's go with that. Rather nice on the canary islands this time of year.

But of course you're not here for that, you'd like to hear about some of the stuff in the next update. And well, you're in luck! It's going to be the biggest update yet!

We've got two scenes coming in, first off the dice scene that didn't make it into the last one, which the picture above is from. It's a really fun one. One thing that ended up getting cut down a little bit is the planned random chance aspect. You can either join a bet or not, and the last dice roll is still an actual random dice roll to determine who wins, but initially, it was a few rolls to determine the outcome, which perhaps built some more suspense, but alas. I just goofed up the rules of Hazard and so had to cut it down to make it work.
But hey, still should be fun to bring in some randomness for a change! :D

The second one is a scene you'll get if you visited Nomax in the morning. Also a very fun one, where we tried a slightly different fun angle picking your choices. So I guess it is a bit of an update with the themes of playing around with the choices you make and the way you make them. Gonna be fun i'm sure!

Outside of that we got pretty much the standard fare! Art, like mentioned, we got a new character from one of the Menagerie tier and above patrons.

I mean it's basically more art & writing, but that's just how it'll go going forward now that the basic building blocks of the VN are pretty much set down.  Stuff like sound, UI, some features like the Maritime Menagerie, or being able to block NSFW content. Not a whole lot remaining that could be announced outside of just more art and more writing. :D
