So he wants to stick to his agreements in so far as he enjoys the act of doing so. Rhys is more fun to act with so long as the mark isn't constantly pestering him so if Rhys managed to edit the mark then Soma is happy to play along with Rhys's idea. Lira was a test on how specific Rhys could be in editing a mark cause Soma didn't want the mark to become more annoying if Rhys fucked up and he doesn't want to go through with getting a new mark when he's still enjoying using it to fuck with Virgil.
