Due to overcrowding in prisons, the government has "shaken hands" with an off the grid transformation company under the name of 'Synthetic Dynamics' to help with their "problem". As part of their expanding research, this company is taking the criminals that are sent transforming them into objects. With a growing abundance of human-turned-objects, Synthetic Dynamics decided to turn them into another means of profit. Every so often they host an auction with an invite only guest list for those who are willing to shovel out the big bucks on a human imprisoned object.

According to their research the objects can still feel, taste, smell, hear, think, and even see. Furth research has shown their sight is comparable to that of a bat, using echolocation from surrounding sounds.

There are currently a new prison in early development to help with the highly increasing demand, but until it is built, it seems like there is no other place for these criminals to go except for Synthetic Dynamics.
