No worries, man. I get it. Been there myself. Like with Overwatch back in the day. That's what got me into animating stuff myself, after all. In my case, I still don't like chasing trends and doing what's popular for the sake of doing what's popular, it's just sometimes I feel like doing something that happens to be popular or trendy. I've been at this for eight years now, and sometimes it can be hard to find motivation to keep going. At this point, I'll basically take anything that gives me something to focus on animating when I can get it, and sometimes that's stuff that I wouldn't have done five years ago or some such. But these things bounce around and rebound and what not for me. Eventually I'll hop off and find something else that's interesting to me at the time. Just how it goes, sometimes. But yeah, no worries. Hope things improve on your end and I'm wishing you the best.

Not to defend myself, but I think my problem is, IDK, I don't like the apparent shift to "trend-chasing"(I can't think of another term). There was this one artist I really liked, but i ended up losing interest because they suddenly started basically doing only gacha characters. I guess I just don't want experience that again(Even though I feel like it won't happen as majorly to you.). And yeah, I have been testy. The last few years haven't been...entirely good for various reasons. And sadly I find myself dealing with it by lashing out at random people online(I made it a resolution to try and stop that. I see I'm fucking failing.). I'll try be best to stop complaining. I'll say upfront I can't guarantee it'll happen, but I'll try my damn best. I hope you can accept this apology. (God that's a lot I wrote. I'm not used to pouring out my emotions like this.

Look dude, I get it. Everyone's got stuff they like and don't like. And sometimes we have bad days where we might be extra testy. I'm having a particularly shitty one myself, but I like to be patient. Unlike some other people who didn't say a peep when I was having real life problems occur two years ago, you did wish me well. And I appreciate that a lot. But I also remember the multitude of salty comments you've left because people didn't vote for characters you wanted where you call the winners boring. And I get it. I also have been disappointed with who wins. But this was never advertised as a 'determine who gets the animations!' It was just me amusing myself by dropping a random ass poll with no info to see who gets voted for. That's it.

And I literally said in the post before I started posting these sets that I had already decided on the characters before I even posted the poll. When I plan these sets, I create a big list of potential characters I COULD do. Then I go through that list, thinking up poses, outfits, etc. for all of them. If I'm struggling to think of anything for a character, that means I don't have motivation to do them. But if I can immediately think of any of those things, that's pretty much a sure-fire 'I want to do this'. The poll was just there out of personal curiosity on what would get picked by popularity vs what I would pick. It had no bearing on anything, other than me deciding to use it as the order of release.
