Am I doing patreon wrong?
Added 2017-04-30 16:01:13 +0000 UTCok so after a few months of doing patreon the way that I thought I wanted to do it, i'm thinking of changing it to a more...used method?
After having a few frauds the first month, and having someone delete their pledge a day before the first, I realize the way i'm doing it might not be the best way. Now while I changed it to having new patrons charged immediately.It doesn't stop another problem, basically being able to participate/ receive rewards for 2 months, when they only paid for one.
So I'm going to be doing what many others do and make an patreon early access pack. That will be given out on the first of the month via pm. After pledges have been paid.
The first pack will be for May, and will be delivered on the 1st of June.
It will contain
-4 pages of my current comic "The ghost in my attic"
-2 fan art pieces (which will have a vote on later this month!)
All pledges will receive the art pack.On the same day. However $1 pledges will receive lower res files.
I will also change the timing of the raffle.
I will post the raffle post the day before the 1st, and the winners will be chosen on the 1st. If the winner deletes or fails to pay their pledge a new winner will be chosen~
Adopts will also be posted the day before the first. They can be claimed, but separate files will not be given out until pledges are paid.
I'll be changing up my page/pledges to reflect these changes
Sorry to change things up so drastically, but I want to try to do this in a way that leaves less loophole.
And if you have any questions or suggestions please let me know!!
