Call For Story Ideas: What should I write for "Fat Trimmings" Volume 25?
Added 2024-05-29 15:30:01 +0000 UTC"Fat Trimmings" is up to its 25th volume which should theoretically drop next Tuesday, and I want to make it another XL edition. In order to do that, I will need story ideas.
Honestly, coming up with "Fat Trimmings" story ideas can be really hard because I've already done so many, and I try to keep a weekly schedule with them as best I can while balancing other larger projects. That's why Volume 24 was shorter than I originally planned. I knew I wanted to write the continuation of the Thick Burger story from 23 and I wanted to revisit "A Little Bit of Magic" from Volume 20 so its sequel would release here around the same time as I posted the original on Deviant Art.

But then I only got one story suggestion, which was both a great suggestion, and totally understandable that I don't get a ton of suggestions every week. I noticed that a lot of the people who normally suggest stories didn't which again is fine. I'm not expecting them to do so every week. People get busy. People can't always keep coming up with ideas. This is not a complaint. I'm very thankful for all the support any of you have ever given me (including just quietly giving me five dollars every month and not running away when I make posts like this).
If anything, this post is meant to point out to people who are new or who are continuing members who just don't regularly pitch story ideas, that now is likely the best time to do so. Pitch away! Get your ideas seen and very likely written. When I have new people submitting, especially if they submit multiple ideas, I usually try to pick at least one of those ideas to do.
"Fat Trimmings" stories are a great way to see your ideas written as smaller stories without having to pay me to commission a larger piece. (Although you still get discounts on those, btw.)
So pitch away. I hope I'll get a bunch of ideas that I can turn into an extra large edition of "Fat Trimmings" for Volume 25.

This is a great idea. Expect to see it used in another edition of The Adipose Zone. I was already working on an Adipose Zone story for this volume, but I love this idea and want to come back to it.

Some stuck up popular girl obtains a magical item that she uses to change her rival into a disgusting slob aspect by aspect in order to remove the competition, unaware that it's the entire world that's changing instead. (so e.g. If she makes the rivals an obese, that's the new average weight. If she makes her rival look like she has no hygiene, neither does everyone else) By the time the popular girl realizes it, the magic item breaks and she's become an outcast for being a thin clean freak and her now slob of a rival is more popular than ever. At the end, the thin young woman has to dive straight into the new muckpit of a world she created in pursuit of her lost popularity.

I love it because it would basically let me pick some popular tropes and more direct references to other popular stories. I could even make it a game of "which stories am I referencing" that might mean it even warrants it's own separate post. Great stuff to think about. I love all these ideas.

That might take a bit more thinking about how to pull that off... but it does kinda sound like an Adipose Zone episode the more that I think about it. Interesting indeed... may need more time to dwell on this but definitely something I want to work with.

Nascar racer turned ice cream truck driver. Top A ranking actress turned into fat loser friend on a really cheap soap opera. Just general ideas, I could come up with more potential one sentence bits if you want.

2024-05-29 17:19:22 +0000 UTCGirl wakes up in a strangers body, and that body is incredibly fat. She has no idea how she ends up in it but after a week she swaps back. Only once she swaps back she realizes she has gained weight. The other girl was also in her body, and at the beginning of each month she swaps back for a week to the other girl. This continues for the entire year and by the end she is no longer able to fight the additional pounds and finds herself pigging out even on the days she isn't being taken over, her carvings and appetite having grown and her stomach stretching over time. At the end she finds herself even fatter then the girl's body she swaps into, finding the final swap to be of a much lighter and easier to manage body compared to her new dumpy one.

The narrator continues making really cliche WG tropes that begin making the girl shout back at the voice above as everyone around her just finds her to be acting crazy. Slowly every guy she finds herself on a date with is a secret feeder, every friend is slowly putting weight gain powder into her food, her mother is trying to fatten her up so they can swap wardrobes, she wakes up surrounded by junk food wrappers since she ate in her sleep and the girl is aware of it all due to the narrator. The only problem is she can never stop it. The pounds come on regardless, and the narrator keeps describing her new fat rolls and changes much to her chagrin.
