Happy Holidays! (+ Membership Rate Lock)

Some small but hopefully good news I want to share is that Patreon has a new feature which allows creators to lock members at their current membership rates, meaning they will be exempt from future rate increases. Happy to say this will now be in effect, so no active member will ever see their membership rate increase. This is relevant as there is a chance prices will increase by 1$ in the new year to help offset some new additional costs, but again no one currently subscribed will be impacted! I’m very happy to see a feature like this as it gives longer term supporters a way to fully avoid any sort of eventual price creep that may occur (though that is not a direction I want to go anyway). Some small notes about this are that it will of course not work with any sort of discounted month you may have joined on (you do not get locked in at that price indefinitely), and also that there is currently no way to renew a previous rate for someone who may be re-subscribing. Just wanted to share this update with you all, and stay tuned for the new content drop which will happen shortly!!
