I have officially returned from the dark alleyways of the underground Berlin techno nightclubs in Lisbon. And, it is good.
Gameplay and Systems Enhancements
Social Relationships & Reputations:
Built a framework for tracking relationships and reputations with individuals, towns, and cities.
Choices and decisions are now stored, impacting how NPCs and locations perceive the player.
Recovered the UI assets and designs for the corruption vs purity mechanics we developed earlier in the year.
Quest System Integration:
Added a quest menu, now tracking and storing player quests.
Began implementing the main questline and supporting UI for viewing and updating quest requirements.
Skill-Based Job Outcomes:
Job success rates now scale with player stats and ranks. Higher ranks reduce poor outcomes, emphasizing skill progression over randomness.
New Features
Stamina System:
Introduced a stamina mechanic limiting daily work. Players start with 10 stamina, refreshed by sleeping. Poor job performance consumes additional stamina, adding a layer of strategy.
Sexuality Progression:
Redesigned sexuality as the game’s leveling system. Accumulating sexuality raises the player’s Sexual Power Rank, unlocking NPC seduction options and new interactions.
Implemented named tiers for ranks (e.g., Virgin → Squirt → Succubus → Siren → Sex Icon), though values and titles are subject to refinement.
Job System Expansion
New Jobs Added:
Tavern Gloryhole: A sexuality-focused job with 12 outcomes now available in the gitmind.
Public Nude Art Installation: A 24/7 job designed for grinding and world-building, featuring 13 outcomes and a special questline to become a mysterious artist’s muse.
Animation Pipeline into Unity
Manko X-Pen Animation:
We have begun the process of recreating the 2d animations into fully interactive 2d fantasy physics.
Refined animations for both "opening" and "shutting" sequences, now closely aligned with intended values.
Added anal penetration mode, introducing another layer of variety to gameplay.
Quest System Expansion:
Continue implementing the main questline and updating the quest UI for smoother player interaction.
Add additional quests to the gitmind for easy review and refinement.
Visual Enhancements for Jobs:
Use sprites and dynamic coloring for job completion outcomes to enhance player immersion.
Testing and Refinements:
Finalize the Manko x-pen animations with player feedback.
Continue fleshing out gameplay and world-building features to enhance immersion.
