7th Heaven Dev update #44

Hello lovelies!

Some great progress was made this week. I'll get into the nitty gritty in the individual sections.

Writing

The 2nd draft is almost complete and I've started to implement more of the text into the game engine. It's a fun process even if it's monotonous at times. I've been doing a cursory spell check and grammar pass as well. 

Coding 

As I stated above, I've begun to implement some of the ew text in game which means formatting it correctly and adding the pauses and other text based effects in. I've also started the process of going back and renaming certain variables to the new coding conventions. That all sounds complicated but I assure you it'll make it nicer to code in the future.

Art

So lot's of new developments in the art. Siren Sleeps is now working on two more BG's one of which will be for update 0.4! Yep we're working that far ahead. But the bigger news is that I've hired an additional artist to help with the posing of sex scenes. I've always been a huge fan of their work and I'm so happy they agreed to come on board. I'll save the reveal for a later time but their help will speed up the art process immensely.  So what is a "posing artist" essentially they'll be the ones in charge of realizing the basic composition and posing of the sex scenes. Myself or another artist will then take that work and ink and color it. Think of the as the penciller in a comic book.  I hope to have some examples of their work in game very soon!

Yeah, quite a bit of excitement this past week. I for one can't wait to see it all compiled in game and in your hands. That November release window is looking better and better every day!
