7th Heaven Dev Update #42

Hello Lovelies!

Welcome to the Scarlet Update! I hope you're long weekend was fun. I worked all weekend. That's why they call it Labor day right?

Writing

This past week I did work on the 2nd Draft of the Script for 0.3. Still working out some things with the end. This update offers a bit more choice and some of the choices you've made before will offer differing scenarios. Balancing all that and making sure a cohesive narrative is there is challenging but super fun!

Art

Lots of new art has either been completed or started this week. But I want to draw particular attention to the Dangerously sexy Scarlet.

She's the Head of Weapons Development at ShinRa and likes to use her power to serve her own purposes and pleasure...

During 0.3 you'll travel to the Headquarters of ShinRa itself and come face to face with Scarlet in her opulent office.

Scarlet is a fun character to write and do art for. I hope you all will enjoy your interactions with her.

Coding

More work has begun into future proofing 7th Heaven so you can continue your saves from where you left off last time. I'm basically recoding the logic for the game a 3rd time, making sure to account for future updates. This is something I'm new to so I hope it works. A lot of bug testing will be needed this time around.

Other things...

My IRL work has started to be demanding again. Thanks to you all I don't have to take on much freelance work but I'm still balancing this project with 3 other projects at my IRL job and have something of a life as well. So I know I say thank you and that I appreciate your love, patience and support. But I really do. It means the world to me and this positive beacon of light is awesome to have. So... Thank you again for your love, patience and support.
