7th Heaven Dev Update #34

Hello lovelies!

I think we should go back to the weekly numbered updates? Seems like I should do something special for the number #34 update right? How about every Tuesday I gather all the past weeks work and give you all an update. That sounds nice to me!

 This past week saw the release of 0.2 update to the $10 and up patrons.  July 21st will be when the latest build 0.2a is released to the $5 patrons and then a week later on July 28th update 0.2a will be released to the public for all to consume!

so...

Update 0.3?

YEP! It's already in the works! Pre-production work has begun and some art assets are already complete.

Writing

The 1st draft of the main outline of update 0.3 is complete. I'm just going over it to add some more fun and sexy to it. I'm going to spend most of this work week refining it and seeing what sort of fun stuff we can do.

Art

Even though the outline isn't complete I'm already 100% set on a couple of new locales for 0.3. Our lovely BG artist Siren Sleeps has already been sent the briefs for the new locales and will begin work shortly. 

Also a few new(familiar) characters have already been decided on and sprite work has begun on some and finished on a others.

Coding

Coding won't begin until I've solidified the outline but I'll begin roughing in sequences so the process is mostly cut and paste when the time comes to piece all the work together.

Extra stuff?

Now, my plan from the start was to make sure the main story of the game was 100% complete and finished before I start to add in things like costumes and animations. But I feel that 0.3 offers a good time to test out adding some small animation to the game. Look forward to that this update.
