Brixel 2.0 - The End Game Update

Dear Patrons!

Today is a very special day, as Brixel receives a new, full-number update: 2.0! Those numbers usually bring significant changes, and it's no different with Brixel! We would like to present you a whole bunch of new content, and tell you about the changes that we've decided to introduce...

"The End Game" brings in, obviously, end game content. 

Starting with the big guns - the Ender Dragon! You can now experience the final fight of Minecraft all in Brixel style! The dragon is our biggest retextured mob so far, and you have everything that you need to face the ultimate foe: bricky weapons, armor, food and potions. So delve deep into the End and and turn the dragon back into the bricks from whence it came!

Besides from the dragon, we've also added the Enderman (we've tried to keep the same aesthetics as for the dragon) and the Shulker Mob (all versions). We've also made optimized versions of Pig and Chicken. The FPS is noticeably better when you have big numbers of those mobs at your farm.

There are new useable End - related, useable blocks like Ender Chest, Shulker Box and Brewing Stand. Some of those magical objects feature self-illumination effect and glow in the dark! In addition to that, we've added a great number of custom models for items like potions, eggs, crystals, ender pearls, rods, etc.

When it comes to the changes that we've mentioned before - you'd better hold on tight. Starting with the Update 2.0, we put on hold support and development of Brixel for SEUS PTGI shader. 

Just don't panic.

As probably many of you already noticed, the current version of PTGI shader is very unstable. Performance is an issue and the HRR 3 version behaves significantly worse than 2.1. We haven't heard from the shader's author for quite a while, so we can't tell anything about the future of SEUS PTGI.

Our main goal is to make Brixel a 100% complete experience. We are aware about the issues with the PTGI version of Brixel and we feel that it's unfair to advertise something that's not fully playable. Instead we've decided to focus fully on developing the BSL version of the pack. The pack runs much smoother on BSL, the bricks look crisp, and we feel that the shader suits very well the aesthetics of the pack. BSL's author is also very active with the shader. 

We feel confident that this decision will allow us to spend more time on polishing the pack for the BSL, as well as bringing more new content to the pack, instead of the same thing twice for both versions. We won't give up on PTGI though - we will bring it back as soon as the shader is fixed.
