Brixel 1.7 Decorations vol.1 Update

Dear Patrons!

We hope that everyone had a fantastic start of this New Year 2022. To make this time even more special, we are bringing you a brand new Brixel 1.7 Update! And it comes with a HUGE amount of new content!

This is the first part of our "Decorations" - themed releases. We've focused on texturing all of the most common decoration blocks. After loading the pack, your world will be decorated with different colours, materials and shapes, matching the aesthetics of Brixel. We've also added most of your wishes form winter holidays, as well as good amount of content from 1.17 and 1.18 Minecraft updates.

You can download your version of the pack from the posts tagged as "Download - latest". Please make sure that you follow the installation instructions, so that the pack can work properly.

A little reminder - the new SEUS PTGI HRR3 shader is still struggling with optimization, and the FPS is very low on most of the setups. This applies not only for Brixel but for all of the resource packs out there. This issue is beyond our control and we hope that Sonic Ether comes with a solution soon. In the meantime, we recommend to stick to BSL, as Brixel looks clean and crisp with this shader as well!

Just take a look at the changelog below. We've added over 165 new blocks like Wool, Carpets, Concrete, Terracotta and many more!

The new blocks feature many of the "bricky" shapes that you recognize from previous updates. We've also experimanted with some new shapes. The new blocks resemble the actual materials like wool, concrete or copper, yet keep the aesthetics of both vanilla and Brixel.

We've put a lot of work into the new Copper Blocks. They come in all the stages that you know from vanilla. When you take a closer look at them, you will notice that they're full of intricate detail, resembling the different effects of oxidization!

And yes, Wool is finally here! :)

Deepslate has been added as well, with all of the different ore variants. We are really happy about the outcome of those blocks, they just make you wish to take out some of those shiny bricks from the blocks!

Besides from decoration blocks, we've also added some content from the Caves & Cliffs Update! The Caves will be now filled with bricky versions of Dripstone, Cave Vines and Dripleafs!

We've also refreshed textures for some of the blocks from previous updates, like Trapdoors or Mossy Cobblestone. 

It would take us forever to describe all of the changes so we won't keep you here - just go launch the pack and discover everything on your own! :)

We hope that you're at least as happy about the new outcome of the pack as we are! :)
