A city by the ocean
Added 2018-05-08 15:15:46 +0000 UTCEarly this morning, we took the high speed rail train (similar to the Shinkansen in Japan or Bullet Train) to Dalian. Dalian is a peninsula city famous for its seafare and beautiful sights. We visited a shoreline park called the ?????or starry ocean plaza, and an eerily empty Venice Water city where there were dozens of newlyweds taking their bridal photos. On a bus ride through the city, I saw many garden favourites of mine such as wisteria and lilac blooming in abundance along the road but I could not for the life of me figure out what variety was the flower tree in the photos. Does anyone know?
PS. Heading to the ??? Tiger Shore aquarium tomorrow, should be sharing lots of non-flower related shots of interesting aquatic creatures!
