Changes to the $3 Tier!

Hello my lovely patrons, I have big news for the $3 tier! ?

Starting in November, patrons pledging $3 or more will have their names included in scrolling credits at the end of EVERY video for the following month! ?

There are several reasons why I’m changing the reward in this tier from the shoutout video to credits.

1. It just seems like a more appealing perk. Rather than only being thanked once (albeit verbally) in a stand alone video, your name will be permanently attached to all the videos you've supported. That just seems more meaningful and rewarding.
2. Dropping the shoutout video will help with the channel’s growth. I’ve compiled several months of data and there appears to be a correlation with shoutout videos and view/sub counts stalling after being on a roll from higher viewed videos from the previous month.
3. It also allows me to thank you in front of a wider audience. The fact that your name will be on several videos (all of which typically get more views than the shoutouts) will further cement your impact on the channel.

How The Tier Will Work:

Patreon collects pledges on the 1st day of every month. Once your pledge is collected, your name will be in a scrolling credits that will appear at the end of every video from the 5th day of the month to the 4th day of the following month.

E.g. If you pledge in October, your pledge will be collected on November 1st. Your name will then appear in the credits of all videos from November 5th to December 4th.

But why from the 5th to the 4th of the following month? Why not from the 1st to the 30th/31st?

Every month, several patrons have their pledges declined (usually for innocent reasons such as no funds in PayPal without a backup payment option.) Delaying a few days will allow those patrons to resolve the issue and be eligible for their reward perks.
