This will be the last Weekly Update of 2025, because I’ll be away from home from Christmas Eve (Wednesday) and there cannot produce any work to post.  So without further ado…

Thank you so so much to each and every one of you who has supported me throughout 2025, even with the abrupt changeover back in August.   It’s certainly been… a week, and really, the end of the year in the wider world.  But we’re not here for a real-world news cycle.

All I’ll say is that I got stuck on the comics and haven’t been satisfied with how they’ve turned out.  And a lot of real world stuff was getting me down so, I simply thought: ‘stuff it’, and did whatever…something’s gotta be better than nothing at all, right?

I haven’t quite made up my mind on whether I’ll take January 2026 off or not; some time away from home will help refresh my mind.  A different slice of life cures what ails one, so they say.  I’ll be away from home for maybe 3 or 4 days and when I’m back I’ll let you all know.  Sorry for playing ring-around-the-roses about it.

I hope you’ve enjoyed what I’ve produced, and sorry for any disappointments I may have caused*.  I think the short break will reset my motivation, especially given the onslaught of “just get the generative computer programme to do it” stuff that’s surfaced in recent weeks.  Certain video game development studios and MouseCorp going “make free stuff for us that we’ll own”… we all know that song and dance, right?  But one can’t stop “progress”… kinda feels like we’re in the modern-day equivalent of the steam engine and early uses of electricity days or something.  So it’s only too fitting I’m a dinosaur, right?  Ha.

At any rate, thank you for your support once again; see you next year, if not in a few days’ time.  And for those of us who celebrate, I wish you very happy holidays.

*(yeah, I’m chastising myself over InfurlationRedux because I had that spark to continue it and then… ughh, I didn’t.  Maybe that’s why my mini-comics took the turn they did—oh and that superhero-themed video game that had a Test Kitchen added to it that very much felt like “this was made for me.”  Transference or whatever)
