The August Canvass (Goldios Sponsos Tier)

It’s somewhat poetic that my first poll under the new Tier system is going to be the very last one of its sort… 

Earlier in the year, I was having a bit of a crisis of conscience regarding a certain game, and I held a poll about it: https://www.patreon.com/posts/129264270 

The results https://www.patreon.com/posts/129894787 were interesting, but during the interim, another game from that particular genre appeared.  And with it, so did the contentious issues that I go into here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/129274546 and my final decision.

One can argue semantics, art style/illustrator choices or cultural values as much as they want but to the average person: “If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck…” 🦆 and given how things are nowadays: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/internet-safety (sorry, would’ve linked the BBC but they started geo-blocking access to their news articles outside the UK), I’m erring on the side of caution.  Ergo, this poll will be the last time I focus on games of that sort.  

I’m not being judgemental or what-have-you; I’m just trying not to tempt fate here is all and end up in hot water.  If you choose to partake in those games, then that’s your choice.

As normal, the winners will get 2 pieces interacting; if there’s a tie, there will be a wheel-spin to determine who has won outright (which has happened before several times, so don’t doubt the possibility of it).  I have no horse in this competition (since I don’t play these sorts of games anyway), so it’s interesting to see what others think.  And want.
