Weekly Update 9-6-2025

Hello again and thank you for waiting for me, and for your support as always.  Here’s what I’ve done over the last week, which you’ll find ready and waiting in the archives.

Comics always take me a couple of days to put together, especially since I’m at a delicate stage with some, which require more time for research and drawing and stuff.  So please bear with me. 

Patreon seems to have invoked a change in how it presents itself, at least on desktop. But this may affect the mobile/app version too.  At the time of writing (the afternoon of Sunday 8th June) I haven’t checked yet on the app.  I suppose I was at fault for not paying attention back in April when they alluded to the upcoming change here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/preview-new-look-126298602

Whoops.

I’m taking July off for real because I’m feeling really burnt out on Content Creation at the moment. Additionally, due to the international markets being what they are, I’m actively making less on here month on month.  It’s nobody’s fault, And it’s not a subscriber retention numbers thing, and it’s not like I’m going to down tools or anything… but I can’t really keep up this pace if I’m only just about to cover the rent and food shopping…

I’m not sure what’s going to happen economically speaking, given how volatile things with the currency exchange rate nowadays—it’s like we’ve fallen back to 2016 or something.  It may be the case I have no choice but to increase my tiers a little bit to make ends meet, the first time since changing to my current format back in 2021.  But I’ll inform you all duly of what I plan to do in advance so nobody’s suddenly caught unawares.  (Unfortunately, I can’t do this and commissions at the same time; man has to sleep and swim and stuff, y’know?  And I’m not in my 20s anymore…)

For the moment, I’ll carry on as normal… I need to get started on the VIP stuff, and more comic pages and stuff… s look forward to what will manifest over the next few days.
